Who I am
Born in Cwmdare in the Cynon Valley, South Wales, I grew up with a love of computers sparked early — I sold my bike at 11 to buy a ZX81, and I've never looked back. After a brief detour into accountancy (a very bad mistake), I found my way to the University of the West of England in Bristol to study Computing.
Today I'm a Senior Software Developer with nearly 30 years of experience across finance, insurance, retail and government — specialising in C#, .NET, Azure and Blazor. Photography has been a parallel passion for 15 years, ever since travelling opened my eyes to the world beyond a screen.
